Hi,
I'd like to know if this plugin can create download categories accessible to different roles, and if every time a file is uploaded, an email is sent to notify all users registered in the group that a new file has been uploaded.

Each user can have their own category, which can be configured in the Private Categories section.

Regarding email notifications, you can set up notifications by user role. More details are available here:
