Can the carousel be set to not rotate infinitely?

I've tried the WP Latest Posts plugin and it seems really useful, but I don't want my carousel of posts to do an 'infinite scroll' and keep going from the start when the user gets to the end. I find it's rather confusing for the user as they can't see easily when they've looked through everything. Can the carousel feed simply be empty when there are no more, and stop scrolling?
